The Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is composed of the Managing Director, the Executive Partners and the Non-Executive Directors as follows, it gathers at least 4 times a year and is managed in line with the governance process applied to its investments.
Geoffroy Boonen – Chairman & Non-Executive Director
1965, over his career, Geoffroy has acquired Expertises in buyout, turn-around, fast growing businesses in both high tech and industrial industries and evolving in international environment. He is highly strategic oriented with sound operational experiences. He has been twice nominee “Manager of the Year” and more recently EY “Enterprise of the Year”.

Hubert Bonnet – Non-Executive Director
1969, Hubert Bonnet is a businessman specializing in real estate and a recognized and passionate art collector, currently living in Switzerland. Until 1999, he was partner of COBEPA with his family , he has always been involved in business Member of the board Maison de la radio Flagey since 2002 he bought with the Moortgat family the 75 % stake in the SA. He is member of the new board and of the exco.
With H Group, he has more than 20 years experience in luxury residential refurbishment in Belgium, Switzerland, France and other countries. He also invests in new residential building, adding his personal and artistic touch to each new project. He is always on the lookout for new opportunities on the luxury real estate market.
In addition to real estate, Hubert Bonnet also formed the company Meaunet (2004), then Financière H2O (2008) both operating in the financial sector. In 2005, he became shareholder and director of Groupe Josi. Today, he is still very active in private equity.
On top of his business activities, Hubert Bonnet is a collector who travels the world seeking out new talent. In 2012, he founded the CAB, an independent art centre dedicated to the promotion of contemporary Belgian and international art.
Jean-Marc Heynderickx – Non-Executive Director
1958, Jean-Marc has a long experience as CEO of retail operations in Belgium and internationally.
He is an active investor in private equity, mainly in the fields of retail and healthcare.
Baron Hervé de Radiguès de Chennevière – Non-Executive Director
1944, Hervé de Radiguès started his professional activities in the chemical industries.
After a few years, he chose to become an industrial entrepreneur by acquiring and developing different companies in the plastic injection sector.
In 2002, reorienting his activities, he launched companies specialized in the distribution of technical parts for the Telecom, Electricity and Gaz industries.
Jean-Louis Van Houwe – Non-Executive Director
With more than 25 year’s experience, Jean-Louis Van Houwe is active in the fintech and ICT industry, still leading Monizze as CEO, Chairman of the Board of Fintech Belgium and My Innovation Centre, Brussels, and active in several boards and investor in start-ups around Fintech, HR tech and Education tech.
Jean-Louis has founded Monizze in 2011, successfully developed as the 100% electronic payment system for lunch gift and eco vouchers in Belgium: Groupe Up, the international leader in this space, “ Making every day better”, took over Monizze in 2015, recognizing its unique footprint and complementing the Group international development over 19 countries.
Jean-Louis is the founder & digital evangelist at izify, the bargain assistant for clever consumers and brands that embraces AI to deliver value and serendipity.
Jean-Louis is Civil Engineer in electronics (ULB, Brussels), Msc in Information System Engineering (UMIST, Manchester, UK), Master in Economics (EML, Lyon, France), Exec Master in General Management (Solvay Business School, Brussels).

Alfred Bouckaert - Advisor
1946, Alfred is a long standing executive of the financial industry.
He has held and holds several executive and independent board functions for several multinationals and investment funds, in insurance, finance, real estate businesses essentially.
Joëlle Pacteau - Advisor
Joëlle is a member of the executive committee of Lombard Odier Europe SA and responsible for the French speaking European market. She served a.o. for more than 10 years as a Senior Managing Director of UBS Wealth Management.
Marc Speeckaert - Advisor
Marc is a renown figure in the Belgian investment ecosystem. He held a series of key executive positions of which the latest was general manager of SOFINA.

Jean-Marc Legrand - Founder & Managing Director
1968, Jean-Marc is a lawyer (UCL – 92) and a holder of several diplomas in finance, tax and business management. Jean-Marc has been corporate and investment banker with Bank Brussels Lambert (Brussels, London, Tokyo), ING Barings (Tokyo) from 1992 until 2002 and Manager of Private Banks (ING in Eastern Belgium and Brussels) and UBS in Belgium, from 2002 until 2012.
He has subsequently co-founded FIDE Capital, a conflict of interest-free asset manager in Brussels from 2012 and remains a stakeholder of the conflict of interest-free investment engine which performs over there.
He is a member of the board of several companies. He masters 6 languages: French, English, Dutch, German, Japanese and Italian. Jean-Marc is a passionate professional whose background is in developing businesses and achieving turnarounds in strategies given wider influences of markets or evolving stakeholder’s environment. He has managed smaller and large teams in various cultural environments.
Jean-Louis Dubrule - Executive Partner
1966, Jean Louis graduated from the European Business School options Marketing and International Strategies. He has also joined a Management program at INSEAD. His expertise, acquired during more than 20 years with Accor, integrates strategic partnerships, the establishment of teams of communications and key account management, multicoordinating international groups…
He also launched several websites including a platform for international hotel bookings. As General Secretary of the Accor Executive Committee, he actively participated in the management of a CAC 40 company. Since 2014, He was owning & managing The Crew Communication Agency. Jean Louis, native from the industrial region “Les hauts de France” benefits from an extensive network of entrepreneurs and successful businessmen. He is a Board Member of several companies. He speaks French, English & Spanish.
Nicolas Roberti de Winghe - Executive Partner
1984, Nicolas is master in business science (LSM – UCL). He speaks fluently French, Dutch, English, Portuguese. He started as project manager for UBS Belgium where he contributed to the project management of restructurations and other strategic and organizational projects. He then evolved to sales manager of the bank where he led several growth initiatives.
He joined TheClubDeal since its early days. During these 5 years, he supported our portfolio companies in their governance and their growth plans, acting as a true sparring partner for the entrepreneur. Nicolas is passionate in understanding business models and how they translate into financial models.
Frederic Convent - Senior Investment Manager
1963, Frederic Convent is a seasoned global networker more than 25 y experience as VP (Finance & Legal) in high-tech & start-up companies, in charge of their fund raisings and investor relations.
As entrepreneur he has recent success in setting up a strong network of EU continental mobile publishers (premium news groups & e-radio stations) and creating robust partnerships.
Within the Venture Capital and investment community, Frederic is known for his dedication, his drive, and his outgoing personality. These attitudes, coupled with his extensive international professional and Belgian public network enables him to successfully obtain external financing and public grants. Moreover, Frederic is fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
Xavier de Villepin - Business & Investment Manager
1987, Xavier de Villepin holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (EPL – UCL), a master’s degree in business engineering (LSM – UCL) and followed a master’s degree in international management CEMS (Bocconi – Milan). He speaks French, English, Dutch and Italian.
He has about 10 years of experience in investments & private equity, and an extensive track record in management consulting. During 6 years, Xavier helped family offices and investors selecting private market oppor tunities (equity, debt, real estate and funds).
Prior to this, Xavier held positions at Degroof Petercam, The Financial Times and Igneos, a boutique management consulting firm. He has built a fine record of bringing innovative thinking to number and fact-driven analysis. He has a strong drive to create insights that matter, helping understand the many impacts of business decisions, and investments.
Harold Grosfils - Junior Business Manager
1995, Harold Grosfils holds a master’s degree in Business Engineering (LSM – UCL) followed by a master’s degree in Financial Analysis from the London Business School.
He has gained experience in M&A at Degroof Petercam where he was exposed to several deals in the Belgian market, especially in real estate and in healthcare services. He also worked in asset management at Puilaetco, where he developed an investment process for a fund.
By being an active finance private teacher for master’s students, associated with his experience in the financial industry, he is able to apply complex financial models to any type of business cases. His strength lies in his ability to thoroughly analyse businesses and financial models which he combines with a passion for entrepreneurship.
